Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Nick Charlwood will join the firm in London as a partner in the Restructuring Department. Charlwood’s practice focuses on complex, cross-border debt restructurings, insolvencies and special situations financings.

Charlwood advises a wide range of clients, including par and secondary investors, creditor committees, debtors, financial sponsors and insolvency practitioners, on restructuring processes involving schemes of arrangement, restructuring plans, company voluntary arrangements, administrations and other insolvency procedures. He has been recognized by The Legal 500 UK and was twice named a Rising Star by IFLR in its Europe Awards.
Charlwood earned his B.A. and MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and his LL.B. from the College of Law, London. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
The Paul, Weiss Restructuring Department advises clients on the full range of restructuring matters, including engagements with debtors, official and unofficial committees of creditors, ad hoc lender groups, secured and unsecured creditors and equity sponsors in chapter 11 and European restructuring cases, corporate reorganizations and workouts, and transactions involving financially distressed companies.
