Litigation partner Lew Clayton's Intellectual Property Litigation column appeared in the June 11 issue of the New York Law Journal. The article, "Patent Claims, Lanham Act, Copyright Issues Online," discusses the Federal Circuit's May 2009 en banc ruling in Abbott Labs. v. Sandoz Inc., which held that "product by process" patents cover only products made by the described process. The article also explores other recent copyright, patent and trademark cases. Litigation associate Gillian Sinnott assisted in the preparation of this column.
