Intellectual Property Litigation: ‘Quanta’: Supreme Court Endorses Exhaustion Doctrine
June 12, 2008
Litigation partner Lew Clayton's "Intellectual Property Litigation" column appeared in the June 12 issue of the New York Law Journal. The article discusses recent patent, trademark and copyright cases, with particular focus on the U.S. Supreme Court's June 9 decision in Quanta Computer Inc. v. LG Electronics Inc., where a unanimous court strongly reaffirmed the patent exhaustion doctrine. Litigation associates Gillian Sinnott and Benjamin Warlick assisted in the preparation of this article.
